Jesse came to Alabama to come and help finish up the packing and ride with to Florida with me and Julia. We didn't have much relaxation time but we did get to swim a little in the pool. I think that Julia loved Jesse because we are so much alike and we look similar. Jesse could put her to sleep just by rocking her, she did have a sore elbow when she left though... Thanks Jesse for all your help and dealing with the U Haul drama.
Please forgive us we are moving, oh yeah with a 2 and a half month old baby! I promise that I will catch you all up on what is going on.
We took Julia today to have some pictures taken before we move, she wasn't her smiling self because she was too tired by the time we got her in the place. We will be sharing more with everyone after we mail some off... we want the really good ones to be a surprise.
Julia is more ready for Florida than I am! She already has 2 swimming suits, I don't even have one yet... I had to special order one that is appropriate for a breastfeeding Mom, so I just ordered one from Victoria's Secret last night. Its zebra print and they actually had a top that fit me! I won't be doing any modeling in it for the blog so don't worry.
So last night I had to take the dogs out one last time before bed, I got a little lazy and decided to let them out the front door which I usually don't do. I opened the door and let them out and as I looked at the porch I saw a huge cockroach running along the wall. I screamed and shut the door with the dogs still outside. I opened the door to hurry them up and it was gone! Thinking it may have gone back to where it came from I was relieved for a minute. I opened the door back up and started to walk in the house, when all of the sudden it flew up in my face and scurried into the house. It went under the end table at first and I got a shoe to hit it with, then it flew up again and I screamed and it went behind the TV stand....never to be seen again. I got a flashlight to see if I could find it before I went to bed, no such luck. I tucked a towel under my door to be sure it wouldn't get me or Julia in the night. This morning I searched the house, have not seen it yet. I feel like it is crawling on me! Times like this I wish Jared was here to do manly things like kill the nasty bugs!
This Memorial Day weekend Julia and I have decided to just hang out and get ready to see Jesse, and Daddy next week. We also need to pack a little... then we are out of here!
