Bye Bye July

I can't believe that July is almost over! The past few months have been flying by, I think it is because we have been so busy at work and Jared has been underway. We welcome August though and maybe some cooler weather.... who knows.

Clean Face

Julia is just the right height for Abby to lick her, she thinks it is so funny too. Can't wait to see what the dogs will think when she starts crawling.

Baking Powder Substitute

Take 2 Tablespoons of Cream of Tarter, 1 Tablespoon of Baking Soda, and 1 Tablespoon of Cornstarch. Combine together and enjoy... well don't eat it plain.

Today I decided to make some banana muffins since bananas seem to get ripe faster down here and I had about 9 black bananas in my freezer. Julia and I stopped at the grocery store on the way home and got some flour and Crisco. I thought that I had everything that I needed.... guess not. The Muffins are beautiful and rose to perfect little domes. Thanks google! Thanks Mom!

Julia Cooks?

Julia is learning early to cook by watching food network! She just sits there and watches while they make the dishes, she gets so relaxed. She also likes to sit in the kitchen and watch me and Jared cook too.

The Latest Arrival A Bow Holder

Jared made Julia a place to keep all her bows that her Grammie made for her, if you buy one it is pretty outrageous!

Julia Grace's Bedroom

We had so much fun making Julia's room look like a little girl belonged there, PINK was pretty much the theme... Jared painted my old dressers and I painted the knobs. Now we just have to convince her to sleep longer then only a few hours in her crib at night.

Julia's New Favorite Past Time

Julia really loves her little saucer toy, her daycare actually has the same one and that is why we decided to put her in it. There is so much to do on it and she stays busy for a good while.
