Happy Thanksgiving
My Thanksgiving day... I woke up this morning to the sound of two dogs wrestling on the bed at 0630. I got up and prepared to put as many warm clothes on as possible to take them outside in the frigid Wisconsin morning temp of 20*. Luckily my Mom was already up and wanted to take them for me. I had some Cheerios with banana, a piece of toast, and some orange juice. Oh yeah and a frosted Christmas cookie from Piggly Wiggly... Good way to start a day of grazing. I helped make some corn bread and sausage stuffing, cut and cleaned celery to stuff with cheese, cut carrots, chopped onion and celery perfectly in a fine dice (Jared would be so proud), helped with the cherry pie by sampling the cherries, and peeled a million potatoes! I also celebrated my birthday with my parents. i got to open presents early, i now have pants that fit without using my hair tie to hold the button closed and i have shirts that are really made for pregnant women not just what is in style in size Large. Thanks Mom and Dad! I will be having cherry pie tonight for my birthday cake, i may just skip dinner and eat the pie and whip cream. Jared is in Texas celebrating with his family, we just missed each other on Thursday morning. I had planned to drive to Wisconsin with my Dad because i had the dogs and i didn't want to put them in the kennel and there was no way I was flying with them. Jared was suppose to be underway until the middle of December, but his boat was told to come in early. It just didn't workout this year for us to be together for Thanksgiving. We really miss him! The dogs will be very happy to see him, and so will I! Hopefully he doesn't mind a big belly hug. Happy Thanksgiving! I am Thankful that I have such a great family and such great support and love from all. Oh and very thankful for stretchy pants! I bet you all wish you had some maternity pants today.
