Wedding Pics To Frame Finally
You know how most people put up the traditional wedding pictures in their house, well I decided that I want to enlarge this one and hang it in our house. I think that it shows more of who we really are. It will be something to laugh about for years to come.

Our Christmas Visitors From Texas
Jeff and Jackie drove down the day after Christmas to spend time with us in Alabama, I think they brought the cold weather! The next time they come to visit we will have an addition to our family. This was our first Christmas that we got to have our very own tree, not many needles have fallen off we may be able to keep it going until March!

Christmas Dinner
For our first Christmas at the house just the two of us, we decided to just hang out and have a relaxing day. We woke up and made some pancakes, eggs and bacon. I started to make some sugar cookies and worked on them throughout the day, even got some decorated. We watched some TV including a little bit of Grease and some of the basketball games. We opened a few gifts from each other and my Mom and Dad. In fact I am wearing the socks that I got right now. Jared got me the Allen Jackson Gospel CD that I have been looking for for almost a year!!! I have listened to it about 5 times now. He also got me a CD case for my truck and filled it with CD's for me to listen to. Chester and Abby got me some attachments for the Kitchen Aid, and got me a gift card to Old Navy so when I skinny again I can get some new clothes. Or maybe it was so I will get her some stuff... I got Jared some stuff for hunting, a special vest that I guess you put dead things in?? not really sure all I know is he needed one that could hold some birds and some bullets. I also got him a hunting knife that I sat at Bass Pro Shop for 45 minutes waiting for the man to find the case for it. I think he likes it, he wore it all day on his belt.

Christmas To Do List
Wash the dogs... they were not too happy about that!
Vacuum all the carpet with new vacuum... new Dyson was well worth it, I can't believe we lived like that. There was so much we were missing.
Steam clean the couches... they look like new.
Laundry... we got a new Christmas table cloth had to put it to use.
Clean the guest bedroom... we have guests coming so we had to move the baby stuff.
Clean the guest bathroom... baths for the dogs tend to mess the bathroom up.
Grocery shopping... just beer in the fridge doesn't look to good when family comes to visit.
Clean Jared's truck... I didn't help but it smells way better than it did.
Pay bills... never fun, but had to be done.
Now we are going to relax and order some Chinese food, nothing big planned for tomorrow... It is Christmas but we are going to wait to celebrate until the 26th. We are smoking some ribs and I think I am going to make some Christmas cookies. Just hang out and watch some movies.

Getting In The Christmas Spirit Feet First!
Today I decided to get in the Christmas spirit by pampering myself a little and getting a pedicure, I even strayed away from my normal black/ or as dark purple as I can find and got green with sparkles. The only bad part is they won't give me the usual foot massage because I am pregnant... something about nerves and toxins??

Too Cute To Resist
I saw this cow hat online and couldn't resist, and we had to have at least one thing that said Daddy's Girl. I had my 26 week appointment today, the Doctor measured my belly and said I was just right at 24 cm. I have gained 8 lbs in my pregnancy so far, but i still have a few months to go. Her heart rate is 130 which the Doctor said is low for a girl, she said that she may just be a mellow baby... lets keep our fingers crossed! We have decided to do the 4-D ultrasound, we scheduled it for January 7th Jesse's birthday. I think she will have the Bevill noes, we will have to wait and see.

Ornaments
Here is the tree with the ornaments that we have so far... I am sure there will be plenty more in the years to come. Jared even wants to save the piece that we cut off the bottom each year and make an ornament out of it with the date and where we were that year. Most the stuff on the tree is what Jared made when he was younger and ornaments that he had.

How To Raise Children At Home In Your Spare Time
Many mothers are disappointed with the appearance of their babies. Real newborns do not look like the babies on the backs of cereal boxes. The skin may be frighteningly red, or unpleasantly blotchy. It may be cracked, dry, or peeling. It may be covered with fine downy black hair. In short, the baby may look barely humanoid.
I am not done yet. His head may be misshapen. Very often it is unnaturally elongated, with a kind of bony bun in the back, or there may be a distinct swelling on the one or both sides of the head. To make matters worse, he may open only one eye. And should he at one moment pass a little gas, resulting in a kind of sardonic smile, the effect can be unnerving. There may be discharge in both eyes as a result of medication administered at birth to prevent serious eye disease. His chin, as it may in many infants, may be underdeveloped, giving him an almost Andy Gump appearance.
I must admit that not all mothers react with disturbance to the physical appearance of their babies. Many mothers are so worried lest they give birth to a deformed child that they are relieved. In my description of the newborn, I may have laid it on a little thick, but now your actual, in contrast to your fantasied, first baby should not come as a shock.

OK so now that you think I am crazy I will explain...
I have been reading baby books and this comes from one that my Mom gave me that she read with me and my sisters. It is very old, maybe even an antique! Copyright 1966!!!! I am going to start posting all the funny things that I find in all my books, both old and new.

1st Christmas Tree Cake Of The Year!
I didn't even wait to leave the parking lot! I had to open the box and sample one to make sure they were good. They always seem to be smaller than I remember when we were young. We would each get one, the box only comes with 5 though so I guess we bought 2 boxes... my favorite treat for Christmas, even better if you freeze them!

Abby's Hard Day
We woke up this morning to a beautiful sunny day, so we decided to do some spring cleaning in December. We opened all the windows and let nice fresh air in, we dusted everything, vacuumed, scrubbed, did laundry, organized, and even changed the AC filter. Abby and Chester played outside and looked out the windows, they were a huge help!

More Birthday Gifts From Texas
Jared's sister Jacie got me this beautiful cross, that within minutes of entering the house went on the wall. Thanks Jacie its perfect! My parents got me some maternity clothes so i don't have to squeeze into my jeans, and some baby books. They also got me the Willow Tree pregnant lady statue and tons of my favorite candy. I will be using the gifts that Jared's parents and grandparents gave me to treat myself to a spa day. I am hoping to find a place that does pregnancy massages! Thanks everyone for making my Birthday so special!
