My Baby Cow

I finally got my wish, a baby cow! Julia had the choice to be a ladybug or a cow and she chose the cow. I think she was the cutest baby cow this Halloween!

Coast Guard Halloween Party

Julia's first Halloween party... well it wasn't much of a party unfortunately. The base was hosting it and I think the main attraction was the bounce houses. They had a pumpkin painting station and a caramel apple station, but the inside was a little lacking. Not many decorations and not even like a Halloween 2011 sign, no where to take a cute Halloween picture. Maybe next year I will be on the morale committee and help them out.

Pumpkin Carving Fun

We decide to carve our pumpkins the other night, since Jared will be getting underway soon and will miss Halloween. We had a plan this year and even decided what we were doing before we made our first cut. Jared got an idea from the book that came with the carving tools, but it was too small so he made his own version of it. I carved a cat for Julia, even made sure the whiskers would glow. We didn't know what to do with the last, so Jared suggested to do a big J and a little j. I decided to do 3 J's all different, one for each of us. We even saved the seeds and Jared toasted them and put some seasoning on them to make a nice snack.

Miss Me?

Jared got a hold of the camera and Julia only had to be herself to make these pictures cute. She loves her yogurt drops and chewing on her green pepper with her new tooth.

Equal Opportunity Baby

Julia believes in equal opportunity football... tonight for example Green Bay and Dallas play so she is going to do a wardrobe change, oh and she decided not to wear the same Rangers outfit from last night. She will wear her pink one after her bath. Busy night for the little fan!!

Garage Sale Finds

1st find of the day was my "vintage" bike, for some reason it just called my name. Next some black and white photos in frames, I really like anything black and white. We also found some crocks and this little cast iron squirrel that is a nutcracker. Julia had an early Christmas, we found an old solid wood highchair, rocking horse that gallops and whinnies, and last but not least her 4-wheeler.

Busy Day

Saturday we decided to not just sit around the house and be lazy, but to see how many things we could do! We started out with some garage sales in the morning after that we decided to check out the flea market. We had no idea how big it was!!! So much to see, we could have made just a day out of it. We saw some pumpkins for sale and decided to go and check them out, Julia picked out her favorites. We went and had some lunch and headed out to play put-put golf with a few of our friends. By the time we left the parking lot Julia was passed out.
