Spa Day

I decided for Jared's Birthday that we would go together to the Battle House Spa here in Mobile. I for sure could use a massage before our first baby is born in 3 weeks or so and he had never had a professional massage. It was for sure a new experiance for Jared and in his words he was "out of his element." The massage felt great and the woman that was trained in pregnancy massages was very accomidating to my big belly and natural uncomfortable feelings. Jared had a woman as well, that was one of his requests he didn't want "some dude" rubbing on him! When we were leaving I asked him how he liked his massage, he said he couldn't stop thinking about what his Dad would be thinking if he was in a spa and it made him laugh to think about if his Mom did something like this for him. Jared decided that in the future he will get me a massage and I can just give him one at the house.
We also went out for dinner at Longhorns. I think that the huge steak, potato, and beer made up for the girly day at the spa. At the end of the day we both fell asleep very satisfied with our day.
Happy 25th Birthday Jared! 2/28

Finished Shelf

The shelf turned out really good, Jared clear coated it yesterday and by last night it was already in the house with stuff on the shelves. I think that we are going to move the books to the bottom and put our unity candle from the wedding on the second shelf. We have to watch what we put on the bottom, our dogs may be grown but sometimes they get into mischief...

The Real Thing

Jackie has been slaving away making sure that our daughter will have a bow to match all her outfits. She made all these by hand! You can't live in the South and not have a bow on your baby girl's head! She is set thanks Grammy!

Bows

We all decided since the new arrival will be sporting some fancy bows that Jared's Mom made, that we should try some out too. Our bows were a bit less fancy... I think Chester liked it the most!

Banana Muffins

Banana muffins for a month! So I have decided that I go a little crazy with portion size when I bake. I froze half so I can have them later, and ate almost all the rest. Yummy!

The Shelf In It's Natural State

Here is the first picture of the shelf Jared built for pictures, books, and other little things. We may have to child proof it before our daughter gets big enough to get to it. Well maybe we will just put her books on the bottom shelf. I will put the finished product on as soon as Jared is finished.

The Final Product

Jared finished his staining process today with one more coat of clear on the table. It looks so nice in our living room, now we just need a coffee table and another end table. The shelf just needs some stain and it will be ready to go.

Busy Monday Off

Here is the nursing stool that Jared built for me, we decided that we would paint it to match the bedding and the belly. Jared plans to replace the legs with longer ones for when she gets older so it can be a little stool for her to sit on.

Welcome To My Baby Shower

Food Food Food

Pretty traditional Baby Shower foods, cucumber and dill sandwiches, veg tray, cheese log, shrimp and cocktail sauce, spinach dip, punch, cupcakes, and fruit pizza. I brought the punch, cupcakes and fruit pizza. My friend Jessica Lynn helped to decorate the pizza and the cupcakes. Yeah we pretty much are professionals when it comes to this... They turned out better than I thought they would.

Let The Games Begin...And DON'T Say Baby!

We played so many fun games! pictionary, build your baby out of play dough of coarse, guess the baby food which meant taste it! EWW mac and cheese flavor was the worst!, name A-Z baby names, pass the poopy diaper, and DON'T say Baby which I am sure that I lost because I only had 2 beads left.

Baby Shower

I had such a great time yesturday with friends that threw me a baby shower, I got so many cute gifts and things that I for sure needed. Thanks to everyone for such a great day, and thank you to all my friends and family that couldn't attend that sent me all the gifts to the house. You are keeping the post man busy!

Jared's 1st Creation Almost Done

I think Mr. Bevill may have passed a few things on to his son... Jared built this with the only plans just out of his mind. He saw what he wanted and he built it! He stained it today but he is waiting to put the clear coat on tomorrow after it drys. I will be sure to post the final product, so everyone can see it. He also built me a "breastfeeding" stool but I shouldn't call it that or it may take the manliness out of his woodworking project.

Clearwater It Is!

We finally got the official word yesterday that we will be getting stationed in Florida for our next tour, I will be at the Air station Clinic in Clearwater and Jared will be on the Crocodile an 87' patrol boat in St. Petersburg about 20 min drive apart. We are very grateful that we have the opportunity to be together. We could be stationed here anywhere from 2-4 years. I have a 4 year tour and he is only obligated to his boat 2 years. So anyone who wants to come and visit we have a lot of fun things to do... did I meantion that Disney World is not too far from us??

Valentines Dinner

We had filet Mignon and gulf shrimp on the grill, bread, asparagus, and rice for our special night. Better than any restaurant in town!

My V-Day Presents

Jared came home yesterday with a dozen roses and a photo frame, i was very pleasantly surprised! I have been wanting a photo frame for so long, finally all the millions of pictures on my memory sticks can be shared with everyone. Thank you baby I love you!

Chester Inspecting The New Towels

Someone has to do it... Chester makes sure that the laundry is up to par when it comes out of the dryer. He will stay in the pile until the last sock is left. He sees you with an arm full of clothes and gets so excited that his little tail is moving a million miles an hour! He is a good little boy.

34 Weeks 3 Days

OK so I think I am starting to possibly look like I have a real baby growing inside me! My belly button is pretty much the size of a pea, but still hanging in there. I go for my 35 week check on Thursday, they should be able to tell me a little more about how I am progressing. They will check my cervix and then I start to visit the Doctor every week until she is born. I have possibly 5 more weeks left... Jared and I both agree that we are ready for her to come out so we can see her and love on her. Oh and so I can stop having heartburn, at this rate she should have hair down to her butt!
