Notice the diapers stacked in the back, Jared counted today and we have 600 so far and 628 wipes... I am pretty sure that we need to invest in more wipes! Jared said that means we have enough for 600 regular dirty diapers and 28 really dirty diapers!!! Then we both laughed!!!

Belly Casting Pro
Jared had his first experience with casting a human body, and I must say he is a pro! He had the most serious face the entire time and stayed very professional. If I were in his shoes I think I would have been tickling him because you can't move at all! I am excited to see what we come up with to design it.

Belly Casting
When is the best time to plaster your belly? I was thinking maybe this weekend before my stomach gets to be a funny shape. My Mom asked me when I got it what are you supposed to do with it when you are done??
Some possibilities:
Wall decoration
Fruit bowl
Dog bed
Conversation starter for a dinner
Way to embarrass your daughter on her first date

We drove about 10 1/2 hours to Weatherford Texas, Jared has his MAN weekend and I get to hang out with all the girls. The guys will be hunting and doing MAN things that I will not go into too many details... Hope they are safe and shoot some, well whatever it is they are shooting.

Flowers To Brighten Up Pretty Much Anything
I love tulips, I'm not sure when in my life I decided that but it might have something to do with the fact that every spring we had them growing in the yard in Wisconsin. They are such simple low maintenance flowers and they are so pretty. They come in all colors and sizes and are good for any occasion. So tulips for sure have my vote!

Happy Birthday Jesse!!! Um Well Late Presents I Mean...
Here are some of the fabric's that I picked up the other day from Hancock Fabrics, I think they will make a pretty neat quilt and they are so soft and silky. The brand is Top Drawer they have a lot of the more earth tones and vintage looks. I planned to mail the box last week and then again today... didn't happen sorry Jess. Jared packed it up today so we will have it mailed by Tuesday. Hope you have fun with your new hobby. I am starting a scrap book for the baby, not much in there right now though.
Our Southern Fried Dinner
This was actually a few nights ago, we had some fried crappie from Grandad Jack's special stock, black eyed peas also from Texas, okra unfortunately not from Texas, french fries, and homemade coleslaw complements of Grandmother Clause's recipe. It was very delicious and enough to make a few friends down here pretty jealous!

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts sauteed with garlic and season salt
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 stick of butter
4 stalks celery diced small
4 carrots diced small
1/2 onion diced small
2 cups raw broccoli small florets
1 Tbs thyme
1 Tbs parsley
Chicken broth
Salt and Pepper to taste
Saute onion, carrots, and celery in butter until tender.
Add in uncooked broccoli.
Saute chicken in oil and season with garlic powder and season salt.
Add chicken to the vegetables and mix in the cream of chicken soup (use chicken broth to thin mixture if needed). Keep mixture pretty thick.
Add in thyme and parsley and whatever else you feel like... Jared said so.
Bake bottom crust in 450' oven until brown.
Add mixture and put on the top crust.
Poke holes to vent.
*Add a secret message on the top with extra crust, I put I (heart shape) U! Jared said it looked like I V U and made fun of me...
Bake at 350' until bubbling and top crust is brown on the edges.
Enjoy!

Baby's First Bed... Temporary Bed
We got this pack and play so that we could have a temporary bassinet and changing table, we don't want to buy furniture that just has to be moved in another 2 months after she is born. Yes it is pink, Jared insisted that since she is our first child that she should get things just for her. Who knows we may have all girls...

Chicken Parm
We made this the other night, you can't really see the chicken because I loaded it with sauce. It was so good, and Grandmother Billy's green beans topped it all off. I think tonight we are going to get some take out, Jared is sleeping on the couch and I don't feel like cooking it is already 6:00! I am starving!!!! We have the 4-D ultrasound tomorrow and I am sure I will have some crazy dreams tonight about what we will see on the screen. We will post some pictures tomorrow if she cooperates. My vote is she will have a Bevill nose... we will wait and see.

Baby Shower
My Clinic Administrator aka my big boss is throwing me a baby shower. She asked that I write down some names of girl friends that I have... I kind of laughed because I don't have many of those down here. Ok ok like 3! Well I would like to include all of my friends and family that are scattered around the World!!!! I am registering at Babies "R" Us and Target, you are more than welcome to come to Alabama and enjoy the guess what the baby ate poop filled diaper game or guess that baby food taste test game, or even guess how fat my belly is game. I understand that most of you would rather wait for a trip down here when you can actually hold the baby. Jackie aka my Mother-in-law had the really good idea to have the host send the invite to all the family and friends, even if they can't be here. I think that is a very good idea, so that is what I am doing. So when you get a strange e-mail that is what it is, I wish y'all could come but I totally understand!

Lazy Sunday
Well today I decided would be a lazy day, not any different from the rest of the weekend. Jared has duty so the dogs and I hung out and were lazy together. I just decided that at 6:30 I would vacuum the house and clean up a little. I am cooking a pizza for dinner and waiting for Kendra to come on. Tomorrow my normal work week begins, can't wait till Friday when we do our 4-D ultrasound!!!!

Fried Potaotoes In The New Cast Iron Skillet
Thanks Dad for the cast iron skillets, they will be put to use in our kitchen! We had waffles, eggs, fried potatoes and bacon last night for our New Year's Eve dinner. Happy New Year! My New Year's resolution I told Jared, was to have a baby he said that was not fair because I already knew I was. He said his was to keep on keeping on... We will see if we come up with any better than that.
