Julia Is Ready For Florida!

Julia is more ready for Florida than I am! She already has 2 swimming suits, I don't even have one yet... I had to special order one that is appropriate for a breastfeeding Mom, so I just ordered one from Victoria's Secret last night. Its zebra print and they actually had a top that fit me! I won't be doing any modeling in it for the blog so don't worry.

The Cockroach In My House

So last night I had to take the dogs out one last time before bed, I got a little lazy and decided to let them out the front door which I usually don't do. I opened the door and let them out and as I looked at the porch I saw a huge cockroach running along the wall. I screamed and shut the door with the dogs still outside. I opened the door to hurry them up and it was gone! Thinking it may have gone back to where it came from I was relieved for a minute. I opened the door back up and started to walk in the house, when all of the sudden it flew up in my face and scurried into the house. It went under the end table at first and I got a shoe to hit it with, then it flew up again and I screamed and it went behind the TV stand....never to be seen again. I got a flashlight to see if I could find it before I went to bed, no such luck. I tucked a towel under my door to be sure it wouldn't get me or Julia in the night. This morning I searched the house, have not seen it yet. I feel like it is crawling on me! Times like this I wish Jared was here to do manly things like kill the nasty bugs!

Memorial Day Weekend

This Memorial Day weekend Julia and I have decided to just hang out and get ready to see Jesse, and Daddy next week. We also need to pack a little... then we are out of here!

Texas Aunts

Julia got to meet her 2 Aunts from Texas Jacie and Jami, it is crazy to think that she has 5! Aunts. She has met Haley and now she just has Jesse and Emily, Jesse will be here on the 31st of May and Emily comes the 14th of June. Can't wait for her to meet her whole family one day on both sides! She is lucky to have so many women in her life to look up to.

Alligator Alley

We went to see the alligators, can you believe we were not even at the zoo! Pretty scary, but I am sure Florida will have more...

Julia's Weekend With Cousins

We have some company visiting from Texas, Jacie, Jami, Korben, and Konner. We had a pretty eventful day today, we made some drawings with chalk on the sidewalk, we went to see the alligators, we went to Kangaroo the indoor jump house place, we ate Mellow Mushroom, we stopped for ice cream, and we went for a walk with the dogs to the park and took some pictures. The boys and Julia are knocked out and have been sleeping for a while. Jacie and Jami I think are passed out on the couch watching TV. They got to the house about 4 a.m. today, drove all night! We are so happy they got to come and see us.

Julia had to have some shots done today at her 2 month appointment, she did not like it at all. It was the first time I saw real tears come out of her eyes. Poor little baby.

Going For A Walk With Aunt Haley

I took Haley to the airport today, can't believe how much we got done! Thank you Haley for all the help! I told her that she has to come every time that we move now and help, maybe we will have to hire her for that... Jacie, Jami, and the boys come this weekend, I think we are just going to relax. I need it, and so does Julia. I just hope Haley gets a rest.
